My Tutoring & Teaching Experience
I tutored A level Mathematics for the duration of the 2015/16 academic year. I have tutored GCSE science previously on an informal basis.
My Approach to Tutoring
The single most important thing for me is developing a student's interest in a subject. This will then pave the way to better results by making revision more effective and enjoyable. Everyone learns in a different way and I take real pleasure from working out how my student likes to process information, and adapting my teaching style to fit them. I'm also fascinated by human memory and enjoy finding new techniques to make revision more efficient, rather than standard rote learning.
Fun Facts About Me
I occasionally ride a unicycle. I'm a keen cyclist and enjoy making electronic music and blogging when there's a spare moment in the timetable!
