Why Study Computer Science?

Computer science, although a novel addition to school education, is an invaluable educational tool for modern students. Everything in the today's world is underpinned by the computer program. Algorithms and coding are now integral parts of problem solving and business decision making; all institutions from banks to charities to tutoring agencies need IT developers. As our society's dependence on computers and devices deepens, having even a basic understanding of how computers, algorithms and the internet work will be ever more important. Therefore, computer science is also one of the very best subjects to specialise in at school and university to ensure your future employability.
