I am a future trainee solicitor at Linklaters LLP and am about to commence studying for my LPC professional qualification. I have a First Class degree from Oxford in Classics (Literae Humaniores), 3 A*s (English Literature, Latin, Ancient Greek) and 1 A (History) at A level, and 12 A*s at GCSE. This year I have been tutoring students for Latin and Ancient Greek A levels, and also offer tutoring in English Literature and History A levels, and most subjects at GCSE (available on request). ...
I’m a postgraduate medical student at King’s College London and Bristol University graduate with a passion for a wide range of subjects. Studying humanities to A level, focusing on crop genetics during my undergraduate degree and now working to become a doctor translates well into tutoring a varied curriculum and ensures I’ve had plenty of experience in the process of learning. I'm an enthusiastic tutor; effective tutoring raises children’s confidence and gives them skills which they can take far beyond our sessions, which is my favourite aspect of the job. ...
I am a native Londoner but am currently undertaking my PhD in Ancient Greek and Latin at the University of Southern California. I have an MA in Classics from University College London and a BA in Literae Humaniores from the University of Oxford. I taught Latin, Ancient Greek, and Classical Civilisation up to A Level at Francis Holland Girls' School in Sloane Square, have tutored students in Latin, Ancient Greek, and English Literature from GCSE to A Level, and have also coached candidates through their applications to Oxford and Cambridge. ...
I graduated from the University of Oxford with a 2.1 in BA History in 2013 and from King’s College London with a 1st class distinction in MA International Relations in 2015. I have taught a wide range of humanities subjects over the past four years and have spent my time working in the arts and creative media. I aim to widen and develop my students’ knowledge of their subject, before going on to build up confidence and exam technique. Whatever stage they are at, I will guide students through their syllabus, developing the strengths needed to help them achieve the grades they desire. To do this I work closely with each student to develop study plans focused specifically on individual needs. ...
A personable, articulate Cambridge graduate, who loves working with young people. I’m a natural problem solver, with a strong desire to ensure the success of my students. My strengths as a tutor involve creating a calm, non-judgemental space to learn, which I find allows students to develop their confidence and discover their talents.

At school, I combined a stellar rugby career, playing to a county standard, with academic excellence, achieving top grade A-Levels across the board, and earning a place at the University of Cambridge. I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a very solid 2.1 degree in Theology and Religious Studies in 2013. In my final year at Cambridge, I was the captain of the Clare College University Challenge team, making the quarter finals of the nationally televised competition.

My desire to teach began while I was still at school: Aged 16, I volunteered teaching English in my lunch breaks at my local primary school, and mentoring younger students at my own school who were not achieving their potential.

I have always been attracted to a wide range of challenges. After graduating from Cambridge, I began training as a secondary school RE teacher. I then pursued a career in fundraising, spending the last two years with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in London. I am now exploring training as a psychotherapist. ...
I grew up in a family that moved every few years, so I attended school first in private academies in Singapore, then the U.S. public school system. I went on to Harvard University, where I focused on the social sciences and graduated with a degree in Women & Gender Studies. After working in tech in the US, including over 3 years building and leading the customer support organization at Uber, I am currently pursuing a Master of Science at the London School of Economics.

As a lifelong bookworm and overall nerd, I look to bring that excitement for learning to those around me, be that within a classroom or in the workplace. During my undergraduate years, I focused my extracurricular time tutoring in and leading an organization that provided free English Second Language classes. At Uber, I personally coached 11 direct reports to develop leadership, analytical, and people management skills, either directly promoting or facilitating their promotion to higher level roles within the company.

I am well versed in the US system, including AP and college entrance exams, and I particularly enjoy working with students through the entire admissions processes, especially when it comes to personal essays. In addition, I can support any students looking to gain presentation and data analysis skills. You can always count of me to bring some humor and levity to facilitate learning, whether the topic is the SAT exam or using Excel. ...
I am a Stipendiary Lecturer teaching English Language and Literature (1800 to the present day) to undergraduates at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford. I am also a former Postdoc at the Faculty of English (www.knowingedwardlear.com) and Stipendiary Lecturer in English at Jesus College, University of Oxford. I achieved top postgraduate funding in my year group for my PhD in English Literature (on Edward Lear, T. S. Eliot and Stevie Smith) at the University of Cambridge, where I lectured and taught. ...
After finishing two degrees from Stanford and Kingston Universities (covering a range of topics from philosophy of religion and mathematics to critical theory) I am now preparing to teach philosophy in prisons and studying to become a psychoanalyst. ...
Born in New York City, I moved to the UK when I was 12 years old. I attended two North London day schools: The Hall and University College School. I completed both US and UK university applications. I attended Georgetown University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree from the Walsh School of Foreign Service.

I am familiar with the challenges associated with applying to US universities from the UK, as well as what is required to prepare for the SATs in the UK system. I have worked as a trained English teacher abroad and a junior athletic coach in New York City. ...
I am a recent graduate of the University of Oxford, where I received a first-class MPhil in Politics. At Oxford, I was a Rhodes Scholar at New College, and I served as Tutor in politics at Keble College. Prior to my arrival in the United Kingdom, I attended Brown University, where I double-majored in history and economics, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. Following graduation in 2014, I spent a year as a Fulbright Scholar at the Colegio de Mexico in Mexico City. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I am fluent in both American and British education systems — and have a passion for education, more broadly. My areas of expertise are maths, history, Spanish, College Counselling and preparation across the board. ...
