I graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain (my hometown) in 2014 with a degree in Modern Languages and Literature, specialising in French, Spanish, and English. After that I moved to France where I graduated with a Masters Degree in Translation from the University of Angers. Following this I started a PhD in French Linguistics applied to the teaching of French as a foreign language at the Complutense University of Madrid. Over the past three years I have had the good fortune of teaching students of many different nationalities, at university level in various institutions in France including the University of Angers, L’UCO (L’Université Catholique de L’Ouest) and the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d'Angers (ESSCA) which offers programs all over the world in Paris, Shangai and Budapest.

I have also served as an official examiner for the Cervantes Institute, and have experience in preparing, organising and supervising their Official Spanish Diploma exams. As part of my PhD I am conducting research in French and Spanish linguistics, collaborating as a member of the prestigious Spanish research laboratory “PAREFRAS”. Currently I live in London and work at a school preparing GCSE and A Level students for their French and Spanish exams. ...
I graduated from Cambridge University in 2015, where I studied Arabic and Spanish. Following graduation, I worked in a top boarding school in midtown Manhattan, New York supporting the students' preparation for SSAT/ISEE exams. On my return from the US, I began working for an educational charity in Cambridge, Red Balloon, which recovers severely bullied children who have self-excluded from mainstream education through a bespoke educational and therapeutic provision. Currently I am doing a social innovation graduate scheme, Year Here, I have introduced engaging new methods to support English language acquisition for participants of English Speakers for Other Languages (ESOL) courses at the Bromley by Bow community centre. Education has always been very important to me. My experiences above, in conjunction with teaching English to refugees in Jordan and supporting students in the US prepare for Spanish tests, leads me to having a broad understanding of education and the techniques that work for people of all levels. ...
I graduated in 2014 with a Double First in Modern and Medieval Languages from Trinity College, Cambridge, where I specialised in French and Spanish. Following my B.A., I received a full academic scholarship to undertake a MPhil in Management at Judge Business School, Cambridge, where I studied Finance and completed a consulting project with Lloyds Banking Group. In 2016, I obtained a M.A. in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, with a particular focus on French eighteenth-century works. I have variously worked in the worlds of art, fashion and music, from interning with Picasso's granddaughter in Paris, to working at Tom Ford and Sotheby's in London. I also helped to raise £10 million to build a new theatre for charity organisation Grange Park Opera. As a tutor, I specialise in French and Spanish language and literature, essay-writing skills, CV and personal statement advice. ...
I took a teaching post at Harrow School in 2015, teaching IGCSEs in English Language and Literature and delivering lectures to A-level students. I was also made Director-in-Residence and Master-in-Charge of Debating. Earlier that year I graduated with a first class degree in English Language and Literature from Christ Church, Oxford, where I was one of the twelve original Reuben Scholars. My papers in Shakespeare and Beckett for Finals were classed as publishable. Throughout my time at Oxford and Harrow, I have accumulated extensive experience tutoring privately for a range of abilities, from pre-test to university admissions. Although my undergraduate degree was in the arts, I have always nurtured a healthy interest in subjects across the curriculum, having studied Further Mathematics and Physics at A Level, and I am continually excited by the prospect of facilitating the development of a student’s academic pursuits in a variety of disciplines. A constant desire to advance my own knowledge energises me as a tutor, and I believe that communicating this enthusiasm allows me to stimulate both the curiosity and diligence of my tutees. ...
I am a graduate of Durham University, where I completed a BA in English and Philosophy. Although I went to university in the UK, I grew up in New York, and completed all of my schooling in America. I attended one of the top boarding schools in the country, Groton School, on an academic scholarship. I took the SAT and AP exams, earning some of the highest scores in my class for both. I have been tutoring since the age of 15, as part of a tutoring program at Groton. I continued at university for English and Philosophy students, and post-graduation, here in London. Having attended both US and UK education systems, I understand and can work with both curriculums, especially with school and university entrance exams and processes. ...
I graduated from Oriel College, Oxford in July 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature. Throughout my school career I have balanced academic life with competitive tennis as a government funded, semi-professional player. This required huge drive and efficiency, for which I was rewarded with a stellar set of results at both GCSE and A-Level and a place at Oxford. Before starting my degree, I began tutoring part-time and have since helped children of a range of ages and abilities achieve similar academic excellence. I specialise in entrance to the UK's top schools, and have tutored students towards 7+, 8+, 11+ and Common Entrance to Westminster, St. Paul's and King's College to name a few. I am also interested in preparing students for Oxbridge entrance, and look to develop a student's passion for subjects beyond the syllabus not only immediately preceding their application, but in the years prior. I wish to help as many students as possible reach their desired academic goals and hugely enjoy transferring my own knowledge to my young protégées. ...
I grew up trilingual between the UK, France and Italy and went on to study at the University of Cambridge, where I was twice awarded a scholarship by my college. I took a 1st in Modern Languages at Part I (French, Italian and Ukrainian), and on my return from a year abroad spent working in Paris and Rome, took a 2:1 in Politics and International Relations at Part II. On achieving 13 A* at GCSE and an A* in French A Level aged 15, I was awarded an academic scholarship to Shrewsbury School for sixth form, where I became the first female Head of School. At Shrewsbury, I obtained 3 A*s at A Level (Latin, History, Spanish) and a D1 in Pre-U Principal Course French. My D1 was the highest mark in the country. I am currently doing an MA in International Security at Sciences Po Paris. I have always loved learning and seek to inspire an intellectual curiosity in my students. ...
I am an experienced and enthusiastic tutor with classroom teaching experience, who is genuinely passionate about History and its relevance today. I graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford in 2017 after having studied History. I have since worked at Eton College in the History department and (more recently) as the College's Filmmaker-in-Residence.

At Eton, I was part of a 3 person team working with History Oxbridge applicants three times a week, advising on every step of the admissions process. This has included advice on personal statements, marking History Aptitude Tests, and carrying out mock-Oxbridge interviews for both the Eton students and applicants from other schools. In the year 2017/18, we received more Oxbridge offers than any other department in the school. I have also worked on the Eton Universities Summer School for the last four years running, teaching history and working as a tutor. ...
Prior to studying a degree in Anthropology at Cambridge (BA Hons 2:1), I went to Oakham School where I studied an eclectic mix of A-levels (History, Geography, Biology and Fine Art), and achieved top grades in all four subjects. This range of subjects, and the degree that followed, reflect my interest in people and why we behave as we do. Indeed I am continuing to pursue this interest, and am currently studying an MSc in Psychology at the University of Surrey.

Before studying at Surrey, I worked in the advertising industry (J Walter Thompson) and for a behavioural consultancy as a Project Manager. Whilst on the graduate scheme at J Walter Thompson, I won the Chrissie Barker award for Top Graduate in my year, achieved a Distinction in my IPA (Institute for Practitioners of Advertising) Foundation Award, and completed the IPA Effectiveness, and Legislation and Regulation awards. I also spent a month working and travelling in Japan, which was utterly fascinating.

Throughout my professional career I built a reputation as someone people turned to for support and I enjoyed helping develop new starters. I also have a wealth of insight when it comes to CV’s, personal statements and interview techniques – all of which are front of mind for me having just applied to university again myself. ...
After finishing two degrees from Stanford and Kingston Universities (covering a range of topics from philosophy of religion and mathematics to critical theory) I am now preparing to teach philosophy in prisons and studying to become a psychoanalyst. ...
