Why Study Languages?

Language Tutoring at with Wentworth Education

English speakers often overlook the importance of studying other languages. The ability to speak multiple languages is in fact a highly sought after skill. In an increasingly globalised world, languages students are among the most employable university graduates!

Beyond finding a job, learning another language can provide you with lifelong opportunities. It allows you to develop the skills needed to study, work and live abroad. You also get the opportunity to learn about and immerse yourself in other cultures.

Knowledge of another language can transform your travel experiences. You can discover the art, music, literature, film and food of another country; meet new people and develop life-long friendships around the world.

Studying languages can also help build confidence and, according to new research, even improve brain function!
