I graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain (my hometown) in 2014 with a degree in Modern Languages and Literature, specialising in French, Spanish, and English. After that I moved to France where I graduated with a Masters Degree in Translation from the University of Angers. Following this I started a PhD in French Linguistics applied to the teaching of French as a foreign language at the Complutense University of Madrid. Over the past three years I have had the good fortune of teaching students of many different nationalities, at university level in various institutions in France including the University of Angers, L’UCO (L’Université Catholique de L’Ouest) and the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d'Angers (ESSCA) which offers programs all over the world in Paris, Shangai and Budapest.

I have also served as an official examiner for the Cervantes Institute, and have experience in preparing, organising and supervising their Official Spanish Diploma exams. As part of my PhD I am conducting research in French and Spanish linguistics, collaborating as a member of the prestigious Spanish research laboratory “PAREFRAS”. Currently I live in London and work at a school preparing GCSE and A Level students for their French and Spanish exams. ...
Having recently graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge, with first-class honours in Modern and Medieval Languages, I am excited to share my enthusiasm for language, literature and culture with others. Throughout my education I have benefitted from outstanding teaching, delivered in a wide range of styles but united by a love of the subject matter and the creativity required to make a given language relevant to the world of the pupil. I have often told my friends, when they insist that they "can't do languages", that anyone can learn a language if they find the method that suits them. I work with each of my tutees to find the most efficient and enjoyable language-learning techniques for them as an individual, and to inspire them to strengthen their relationship with the language independently.

I passionately believe not only that learning languages improves us as individuals members of society by giving us direct access to treasures of world culture, broadening our cultural horizons and inviting us to step into others' shoes, but also that learning a language can and should be easy, rewarding and fun. In an age of advanced language-learning software, a personal tutor is indispensable in ascertaining and maintaining the best approach for each learner. ...
I graduated from Durham University in 2012 with a degree in Natural Sciences, specialising in Biology and Psychology. Shortly after graduating, I moved to London to begin work as a Medical Writer. This involved writing a variety of documents for the pharmaceutical industry for new or developing medical drugs.

In 2015 I made the change into teaching. I studied teaching with Goldsmith's University and specialised in Secondary Science. For two years I have been a professional Science teacher based in South East London. I teach pupils aged 11-18, teaching Chemistry, Biology and Physics to GCSE and Biology A-level. I am an enthusiastic and committed teacher and am passionate about helping young people to understand and enjoy science. I encourage pupils to think on their own, scaffolding their learning and slowly taking away training wheels so they have the confidence and self-belief to make progress on their own. ...
I am a future trainee solicitor at Linklaters LLP and am about to commence studying for my LPC professional qualification. I graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2015, where I studied French and Italian. Since then, I have completed the Graduate Diploma in Law with Distinction and I am currently studying for the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Moorgate. I have been working as a tutor for four years, with a particular focus on language tuition, Oxbridge applications and tutoring for the 11+. For me, tutoring is an incredibly rewarding experience. I particularly enjoy the opportunity to watch my tutees make progress not only in terms of their academic ability but also in developing self-confidence and a love for learning overall. ...

I am a friendly, encouraging teacher with over a decade's experience, particularly with students aged 11-13. Since graduating from Cambridge 13 years ago I have taught students of all sorts of abilities and ages (5-58) anywhere from Notting Hill to Nairobi. My curiosity about the world has drawn me to journalism as well as teaching. I worked at the Telegraph for two years and now I write about arts and culture for The Economist’s 1843, The Spectator and Apollo magazines. I am also the co-author of 'What on Earth is Going On? A Crash Course in Current Affairs' (HarperCollins, 2009 - Sunday Times 'Stocking Filler of the Year'). Both my teaching and writing are informed by a desire to understand the world, and to help others do so too. ...
I’m a postgraduate medical student at King’s College London and Bristol University graduate with a passion for a wide range of subjects. Studying humanities to A level, focusing on crop genetics during my undergraduate degree and now working to become a doctor translates well into tutoring a varied curriculum and ensures I’ve had plenty of experience in the process of learning. I'm an enthusiastic tutor; effective tutoring raises children’s confidence and gives them skills which they can take far beyond our sessions, which is my favourite aspect of the job. ...
I graduated last year with 1st class honours in Experimental Psychology (BA) from the University of Oxford. I am now a professional tutor and confident teaching the following subjects; Psychology, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Geography. I also offer sessions for Oxbridge applications. Now tutoring full-time, I am dedicated to offering a tutoring experience that is tailored specifically to my student’s needs, building their confidence to go into their examinations fully prepared. ...

I also helped to raise £10 million to build a new theatre for charity organisation Grange Park Opera. As a tutor, I specialise in French and Spanish language and literature, essay-writing skills, CV and personal statement advice. ...
