I am a recent graduate of the University of Oxford, where I received a first-class MPhil in Politics. At Oxford, I was a Rhodes Scholar at New College, and I served as Tutor in politics at Keble College. Prior to my arrival in the United Kingdom, I attended Brown University, where I double-majored in history and economics, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. Following graduation in 2014, I spent a year as a Fulbright Scholar at the Colegio de Mexico in Mexico City. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I am fluent in both American and British education systems — and have a passion for education, more broadly. My areas of expertise are maths, history, Spanish, College Counselling and preparation across the board. ...
I graduated from St. John's College, Cambridge in 2016 with a first class degree in History of Art and an MPhil in Early 20th Century British Modernist Painting. I was born and live in London and attended Westminster Under School and Eton College, two of the country's most prestigious and competitive private schools. ...
I grew up in a family that moved every few years, so I attended school first in private academies in Singapore, then the U.S. public school system. I went on to Harvard University, where I focused on the social sciences and graduated with a degree in Women & Gender Studies. After working in tech in the US, including over 3 years building and leading the customer support organization at Uber, I am currently pursuing a Master of Science at the London School of Economics.

As a lifelong bookworm and overall nerd, I look to bring that excitement for learning to those around me, be that within a classroom or in the workplace. During my undergraduate years, I focused my extracurricular time tutoring in and leading an organization that provided free English Second Language classes. At Uber, I personally coached 11 direct reports to develop leadership, analytical, and people management skills, either directly promoting or facilitating their promotion to higher level roles within the company.

I am well versed in the US system, including AP and college entrance exams, and I particularly enjoy working with students through the entire admissions processes, especially when it comes to personal essays. In addition, I can support any students looking to gain presentation and data analysis skills. You can always count of me to bring some humor and levity to facilitate learning, whether the topic is the SAT exam or using Excel. ...
I am currently studying Human Sciences (BA) at the University of Oxford, where I am a Laidlaw Scholar and have received the Gardner Prize. The course is an interesting approach of combining the humanities and sciences to understand the interdisciplinary nature of humans, and combines a variety of subjects including Biology, Geography, Sociology and Statistics. I have tutored since 2014, working with children from ages 3-18, and at a range of abilities to produce successful results. As an individual who loves learning, I hope to pass this passion onto my students through engaging sessions and inspire them to look further than what they just learn in the classroom. I therefore find tutoring a very rewarding experience and I am passionate about helping every student reach their potential.

Having attended a selective grammar school with an acceptance rate of less than 10%, I understand the pressure which students can place on themselves. There is a high importance of staying calm and collected, and I listen to any concerns which the student may have. I have worked with numerous individuals preparing them for common entrance exams, GCSE’s and A-levels. I place large focus on improving exam technique through understanding the mark scheme and developing approaches to apply knowledge to advanced questions. ...
I graduated from Oriel College, Oxford in July 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature. Throughout my school career I have balanced academic life with competitive tennis as a government funded, semi-professional player. This required huge drive and efficiency, for which I was rewarded with a stellar set of results at both GCSE and A-Level and a place at Oxford. Before starting my degree, I began tutoring part-time and have since helped children of a range of ages and abilities achieve similar academic excellence. I specialise in entrance to the UK's top schools, and have tutored students towards 7+, 8+, 11+ and Common Entrance to Westminster, St. Paul's and King's College to name a few. I am also interested in preparing students for Oxbridge entrance, and look to develop a student's passion for subjects beyond the syllabus not only immediately preceding their application, but in the years prior. I wish to help as many students as possible reach their desired academic goals and hugely enjoy transferring my own knowledge to my young protégées. ...
I have been a tutor since I began my undergraduate degree at Oxford in 2013. I graduated with the highest first class degree in English Language and Literature at my college, Christ Church. At Christ Church I was also an Academic Scholar and holder of a Gibbs Prize for achieving a Distinction in Preliminary Examinations and coming 10th in a year of 240 students. In 2016, I started a Masters degree in English Language and Literature at University College London, where I was awarded the Shakespeare and Rhetoric Prize by Professor Brian Vickers.

Throughout my time at Oxford and UCL, I have accumulated extensive experience tutoring privately for a range of abilities, from pre-test to university admissions, including undergraduate and postgraduate study. Although my main subject is English, I have a strong interest in other languages and arts. Having grown up in Paris with dual English/Italian nationality, I am a native speaker of English, Italian and French, and can speak conversational Spanish. My interest and ability in History of Art has lead me to teaching the subject for the General Paper of the Eton Oppidan Scholarship. I have a constant desire to learn, something which I feel is greatly helped by tutoring, and this is a passion I seek to instil in all my tutees. ...
I am a future trainee solicitor at Linklaters LLP and am about to commence studying for my LPC professional qualification. I have a First Class degree from Oxford in Classics (Literae Humaniores), 3 A*s (English Literature, Latin, Ancient Greek) and 1 A (History) at A level, and 12 A*s at GCSE. This year I have been tutoring students for Latin and Ancient Greek A levels, and also offer tutoring in English Literature and History A levels, and most subjects at GCSE (available on request). ...
I graduated last year with a 1st in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford. My experience as a tutor extends across different levels and subjects, from teaching English as a foreign language to 11+ exams, and university entrance preparation. Throughout the years, I have worked with students on a wide range of curriculums to hone their skills and expand not only their knowledge, but also their interest and love for the subject. Having won a bursary to attend Wellington College in 2011, I studied the IB, and was one of the very few students in the world to achieve a maximum of 45 points. Some of the distinctions I was awarded for my academic performances include the Gavin Ewart Poetry Prize, the Verrall English Prize, the Music Essay Prize, and the Lady Emma Talbot Special Prize. I went on to earn a place at Oxford University where I read BA Honours in English Language and Literature. Following my Distinction in Prelims, I was awarded the Casberd Scholarship for outstanding results. ...
I've been tutoring and working with children part time since I finished school in 2014, and have graduated from Oxford University, where I studied English literature. Before that, I took IB at Wellington College, in which I scored 43 out of a possible 45 points. I've tutored in London, Oxford and Hong Kong, worked as a nanny, and set up and continue to run a school sponsorship program in Nepal, which provides disadvantaged children with the opportunity to be educated in Kathmandu. For me, one of the most rewarding aspects of tutoring is helping students gain confidence in something they thought they would never understand, or felt they weren't good at, turning a daunting task into something enjoyable. I've worked with children who range from 3 to 23 years old, but have most experience with Common Entrance at 11+ and 13+. The breath of the IB course means that I'm able to teach a range of subjects to a high standard, and have great experience balancing academic work with other areas of life, as well as finding important overlaps between diverse subjects and interests. ...
A personable, articulate Cambridge graduate, who loves working with young people. I’m a natural problem solver, with a strong desire to ensure the success of my students. My strengths as a tutor involve creating a calm, non-judgemental space to learn, which I find allows students to develop their confidence and discover their talents.

At school, I combined a stellar rugby career, playing to a county standard, with academic excellence, achieving top grade A-Levels across the board, and earning a place at the University of Cambridge. I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a very solid 2.1 degree in Theology and Religious Studies in 2013. In my final year at Cambridge, I was the captain of the Clare College University Challenge team, making the quarter finals of the nationally televised competition.

My desire to teach began while I was still at school: Aged 16, I volunteered teaching English in my lunch breaks at my local primary school, and mentoring younger students at my own school who were not achieving their potential.

I have always been attracted to a wide range of challenges. After graduating from Cambridge, I began training as a secondary school RE teacher. I then pursued a career in fundraising, spending the last two years with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in London. I am now exploring training as a psychotherapist. ...
