I graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain (my hometown) in 2014 with a degree in Modern Languages and Literature, specialising in French, Spanish, and English. After that I moved to France where I graduated with a Masters Degree in Translation from the University of Angers. Following this I started a PhD in French Linguistics applied to the teaching of French as a foreign language at the Complutense University of Madrid. Over the past three years I have had the good fortune of teaching students of many different nationalities, at university level in various institutions in France including the University of Angers, L’UCO (L’Université Catholique de L’Ouest) and the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d'Angers (ESSCA) which offers programs all over the world in Paris, Shangai and Budapest.

I have also served as an official examiner for the Cervantes Institute, and have experience in preparing, organising and supervising their Official Spanish Diploma exams. As part of my PhD I am conducting research in French and Spanish linguistics, collaborating as a member of the prestigious Spanish research laboratory “PAREFRAS”. Currently I live in London and work at a school preparing GCSE and A Level students for their French and Spanish exams. ...
Prior to studying a degree in Anthropology at Cambridge (BA Hons 2:1), I went to Oakham School where I studied an eclectic mix of A-levels (History, Geography, Biology and Fine Art), and achieved top grades in all four subjects. This range of subjects, and the degree that followed, reflect my interest in people and why we behave as we do. Indeed I am continuing to pursue this interest, and am currently studying an MSc in Psychology at the University of Surrey.

Before studying at Surrey, I worked in the advertising industry (J Walter Thompson) and for a behavioural consultancy as a Project Manager. Whilst on the graduate scheme at J Walter Thompson, I won the Chrissie Barker award for Top Graduate in my year, achieved a Distinction in my IPA (Institute for Practitioners of Advertising) Foundation Award, and completed the IPA Effectiveness, and Legislation and Regulation awards. I also spent a month working and travelling in Japan, which was utterly fascinating.

Throughout my professional career I built a reputation as someone people turned to for support and I enjoyed helping develop new starters. I also have a wealth of insight when it comes to CV’s, personal statements and interview techniques – all of which are front of mind for me having just applied to university again myself. ...
I have a first-class degree in Education, English and Drama from St John's College, the University of Cambridge and a great deal of teaching experience both internationally and in the UK. With a body of educational thought behind my work, I've lectured on William Shakespeare in The Cayman Islands, the US and Switzerland (among other venues). Working with touring theatre groups I have expertise in theatrical texts and classical plays. I taught at an independent secondary school in Bath, preparing students for their GCSE and A-Level examinations and taking responsibility for A-Level coursework. After applying my educational experience to the corporate sector I have returned to Freelance teaching full-time. ...
I graduated from Cambridge University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law. I first started tutoring when I was 17 as a peer mentor for students who required further help in preparing for their GCSEs. Since then, I have continued to tutor privately as well as working for well regarded organisations such as, the Oxford & Cambridge Summer School and Save the Children Int'l. The majority of my experience is working with children 14 years and above, however, I am equally confident teaching younger ages. I find tutoring incredibly rewarding and enjoy seeing the development and success of my tutees. ...
I am an experienced and enthusiastic tutor with classroom teaching experience, who is genuinely passionate about History and its relevance today. I graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford in 2017 after having studied History. I have since worked at Eton College in the History department and (more recently) as the College's Filmmaker-in-Residence.

At Eton, I was part of a 3 person team working with History Oxbridge applicants three times a week, advising on every step of the admissions process. This has included advice on personal statements, marking History Aptitude Tests, and carrying out mock-Oxbridge interviews for both the Eton students and applicants from other schools. In the year 2017/18, we received more Oxbridge offers than any other department in the school. I have also worked on the Eton Universities Summer School for the last four years running, teaching history and working as a tutor. ...
Having graduated with first class honours, including distinction in the French oral examination, from Magdalen College, Oxford, I went on to complete my PGCE in Secondary teaching at the London Institute of Education. I also hold various certificated studies in Psychotherapy, Counselling Skills and Psychology (PGCert, Derby). In my first teaching post at St Paul's Boys' School, London, I taught French, Spanish, Italian and Drama, in addition to providing Oxbridge entrance preparation. At the same time I began working with Cambridge International Examinations, first as Principal Examiner for the Pre U Italian examination (a post which I continue to hold to this day), then for a few years on the Italian IGCSE team before moving to French A level, and, now, also Spanish IGCSE Literature. Following another language teaching post at a further London boys day school, I decided to move abroad and am now based in Valencia, Spain. I work freelance as a private tutor - both via Skype and intensive visits in person - and translator (published). ...
I was brought up in Paris and moved to London to study at Imperial College, where I obtained a Bachelor’s and Master's degree in Theoretical Physics with High First Class honours. My research focused on the way in which alternative logic systems can help us bridge the gap between quantum mechanics and relativity. I was awarded Associateship of the Royal College of Science.

Although I am a science specialist, I also have a strong background in English and Verbal Reasoning. I sat the GRE in 2016 for entrance to US Grad School and got exceptionally good grades (Verbal Reasoning - 99th percentile, Analytical Writing - 93rd percentile).

Since 2011, I have offered private tuition for all major examination boards as well as working for the Imperial College summer schools. ...
I am a future trainee solicitor at Linklaters LLP and am about to commence studying for my LPC professional qualification. I have a First Class degree from Oxford in Classics (Literae Humaniores), 3 A*s (English Literature, Latin, Ancient Greek) and 1 A (History) at A level, and 12 A*s at GCSE. This year I have been tutoring students for Latin and Ancient Greek A levels, and also offer tutoring in English Literature and History A levels, and most subjects at GCSE (available on request). ...
I recently studied Modern Languages & Management at undergraduate level at Cambridge, won the Eton College Spanish prize, earned top grades at GCSE, AS level & A Level and was awarded a Scholarship in Modern Languages in my 1st year at Cambridge. I have received a lot of tutoring along the way so am familiar with what works and what doesn't. From my experience, the best tutors make grammar, literary analysis & learning simple but also highly engaging. I enjoy teaching at all levels from GCSE to University Admissions and find it very satisfying to see my tutees progress and enjoy the sessions. I'm sociable, play a lot of sport in my free time and love to travel. Please do get in contact if you have any questions! ...
I graduated from the University of Oxford with a 2.1 in BA History in 2013 and from King’s College London with a 1st class distinction in MA International Relations in 2015. I have taught a wide range of humanities subjects over the past four years and have spent my time working in the arts and creative media. I aim to widen and develop my students’ knowledge of their subject, before going on to build up confidence and exam technique. Whatever stage they are at, I will guide students through their syllabus, developing the strengths needed to help them achieve the grades they desire. To do this I work closely with each student to develop study plans focused specifically on individual needs. ...
