Nicholas is a recent graduate of the University of Cambridge, where he studied Preclinical Medicine before moving to pursue global health projects. After a stint at the World Health Organisation Nicholas completed an MSc in International Health Policy at the London School of Economics and now works for the National Health Service in England. I am a Cambridge University graduate, with experience tutoring a broad range of subjects. Before starting a career in Management Consulting, I studied Education with English and Drama (BA Hons, 1st Class), and am passionate about understanding how my students tick, finding ways of engaging them, and helping them achieve their goals.

I started tutoring at the age of 18, in Manchester where I grew up. I helped family friends through their 11+ exams, Spanish/English/Music GCSEs (As and A*s achieved). After University, I moved to Madrid for a year, where I tutored English, while studying to achieve the Instituto Cervantes DELE C1 qualification, giving me Undergraduate Degree level Spanish. ...
I’m a postgraduate medical student at King’s College London and Bristol University graduate with a passion for a wide range of subjects. Studying humanities to A level, focusing on crop genetics during my undergraduate degree and now working to become a doctor translates well into tutoring a varied curriculum and ensures I’ve had plenty of experience in the process of learning. I'm an enthusiastic tutor; effective tutoring raises children’s confidence and gives them skills which they can take far beyond our sessions, which is my favourite aspect of the job. ...
Prior to studying a degree in Anthropology at Cambridge (BA Hons 2:1), I went to Oakham School where I studied an eclectic mix of A-levels (History, Geography, Biology and Fine Art), and achieved top grades in all four subjects. This range of subjects, and the degree that followed, reflect my interest in people and why we behave as we do. Indeed I am continuing to pursue this interest, and am currently studying an MSc in Psychology at the University of Surrey.

Before studying at Surrey, I worked in the advertising industry (J Walter Thompson) and for a behavioural consultancy as a Project Manager. Whilst on the graduate scheme at J Walter Thompson, I won the Chrissie Barker award for Top Graduate in my year, achieved a Distinction in my IPA (Institute for Practitioners of Advertising) Foundation Award, and completed the IPA Effectiveness, and Legislation and Regulation awards. I also spent a month working and travelling in Japan, which was utterly fascinating.

Throughout my professional career I built a reputation as someone people turned to for support and I enjoyed helping develop new starters. I also have a wealth of insight when it comes to CV’s, personal statements and interview techniques – all of which are front of mind for me having just applied to university again myself. ...
My name is Sasha and I'm a junior doctor working at Homerton University Hospital, in North-East London. I completed an undergraduate degree, and Masters, in chemistry (with chemical biology) at Magdalen College, Oxford, and then went on to study Medicine (Graduate-Entry) at King's College London. I have been tutoring for the past 7 years, across a range of subjects and levels; my aim is always to broaden and develop my students' understanding of their subject, before going on to develop exam technique and build confidence. ...
Having studied in a boarding school in West Sussex, where I was a deputy-head of house and School prefect, I studied Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Cambridge. At university, I encountered a wide variety of disciplines and ways of thinking; from politics, to psychology to history. I completed an MSc degree in Law and Anthropology at The London School of Economics (LSE), during which I worked as an administrator for a legal research network and organised conferences for a international think tank, most notably a conference at the European Union parliament in Brussels.

Following my studies, I worked for the Department for Education in Westminster, where I advised schools on how to progress and collaborate with each other. I also began volunteering with a grassroots educational charity that mentors children from underrepresented communities through organising sports coaching and workshops.

I then went on to teach History at Rugby School, a top-tier boarding school in the Midlands, where I taught students between the ages of 13 to 18 years. I was also a pastoral tutor in a boarding house, where I was responsible for helping the sixth form students with their university and UCAS applications.

...
I have been teaching since the age of eighteen when I worked as a classroom assistant at Guildford High School for six months. I then worked at the European School of Brussels while working as an au pair. While studying French and English at Oxford I continued tutoring a range of subjects during the vac. After graduating in 2016 I spent a year working on a research project in South Africa investigating highly vulnerable teens to inform public health policy. Since September 2017 I have been tutoring full-time. I am now living in Clapham, and particularly specialise in French tuition all the way from the age of 7 to undergraduate level. I also have extensive experience tutoring Maths, English and Spanish, as well as a variety of other subjects to GCSE level. In October 2018 I will be taking up a full-time position as a Business Analyst at Mckinsey & Co. ...
I am an outgoing tutor with an enthusiasm to help students engage with and enjoy their education. I value learning as a way of coming to understand the world and what is going on around you!

My A-Levels helped me to shape a way of thinking that then led to my degree in Anthropology at UCL, for which I received a 1st. This was one of the most exciting and stimulating decisions I made, and I thoroughly enjoyed each moment of my course.

I am confident in teaching a broad base of humanities and languages, and hope to have the chance to inspire some students in doing so! ...
I graduated in 2014 with a Double First in Modern and Medieval Languages from Trinity College, Cambridge, where I specialised in French and Spanish. Following my B.A., I received a full academic scholarship to undertake a MPhil in Management at Judge Business School, Cambridge, where I studied Finance and completed a consulting project with Lloyds Banking Group. In 2016, I obtained a M.A. in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, with a particular focus on French eighteenth-century works. I have variously worked in the worlds of art, fashion and music, from interning with Picasso's granddaughter in Paris, to working at Tom Ford and Sotheby's in London. I also helped to raise £10 million to build a new theatre for charity organisation Grange Park Opera. As a tutor, I specialise in French and Spanish language and literature, essay-writing skills, CV and personal statement advice. ...
I have a first class degree in French and Latin from University College London, with Dean's List honours. This involved a year teaching English as a foreign language in two schools in Nantes, France. Before university I attended Brighton College with a top academic scholarship, where I achieved A levels in French, Latin, English and History. I enjoy teaching languages at all levels from beginner to degree level. I particularly enjoy literary analysis and theory. As a tutor I tailor lessons to the particular goals and needs of the student, and often learn a great deal from my students about their particular passions. When not tutoring I am a detective in the Met Police. ...
