After finishing two degrees from Stanford and Kingston Universities (covering a range of topics from philosophy of religion and mathematics to critical theory) I am now preparing to teach philosophy in prisons and studying to become a psychoanalyst. ...
I graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain (my hometown) in 2014 with a degree in Modern Languages and Literature, specialising in French, Spanish, and English. After that I moved to France where I graduated with a Masters Degree in Translation from the University of Angers. Following this I started a PhD in French Linguistics applied to the teaching of French as a foreign language at the Complutense University of Madrid. Over the past three years I have had the good fortune of teaching students of many different nationalities, at university level in various institutions in France including the University of Angers, L’UCO (L’Université Catholique de L’Ouest) and the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d'Angers (ESSCA) which offers programs all over the world in Paris, Shangai and Budapest.

I have also served as an official examiner for the Cervantes Institute, and have experience in preparing, organising and supervising their Official Spanish Diploma exams. As part of my PhD I am conducting research in French and Spanish linguistics, collaborating as a member of the prestigious Spanish research laboratory “PAREFRAS”. Currently I live in London and work at a school preparing GCSE and A Level students for their French and Spanish exams. ...
I recently graduated from Oxford University with a first class degree in English Language and Literature. Before that I attended Eton College on a full bursary, where I was awarded an Oppidan Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement. I left Eton with three A*'s and an A at A Level.

My passion for teaching started when in my penultimate year at school I volunteered at a local special educational needs school. I found it immensely rewarding to instill in my students an enthusiasm for learning that led to understanding and success.

My educational background means that I have a thorough knowledge of the private educational sector in the UK, from scholarship exams, to writing personal statements, all the way through to preparing for decisive Oxbridge interviews.

My teaching experience has helped me become a non-judgemental, patient tutor, who understands that making learning enjoyable is key to anyone's academic success. ...
I am a graduate of Durham University, where I completed a BA in English and Philosophy. Although I went to university in the UK, I grew up in New York, and completed all of my schooling in America. I attended one of the top boarding schools in the country, Groton School, on an academic scholarship. I took the SAT and AP exams, earning some of the highest scores in my class for both. I have been tutoring since the age of 15, as part of a tutoring program at Groton. I continued at university for English and Philosophy students, and post-graduation, here in London. Having attended both US and UK education systems, I understand and can work with both curriculums, especially with school and university entrance exams and processes. ...
I am an outgoing tutor with an enthusiasm to help students engage with and enjoy their education. I value learning as a way of coming to understand the world and what is going on around you!

My A-Levels helped me to shape a way of thinking that then led to my degree in Anthropology at UCL, for which I received a 1st. This was one of the most exciting and stimulating decisions I made, and I thoroughly enjoyed each moment of my course.

I am confident in teaching a broad base of humanities and languages, and hope to have the chance to inspire some students in doing so! ...
I am an experienced and enthusiastic tutor with classroom teaching experience, who is genuinely passionate about History and its relevance today. I graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford in 2017 after having studied History. I have since worked at Eton College in the History department and (more recently) as the College's Filmmaker-in-Residence.

At Eton, I was part of a 3 person team working with History Oxbridge applicants three times a week, advising on every step of the admissions process. This has included advice on personal statements, marking History Aptitude Tests, and carrying out mock-Oxbridge interviews for both the Eton students and applicants from other schools. In the year 2017/18, we received more Oxbridge offers than any other department in the school. I have also worked on the Eton Universities Summer School for the last four years running, teaching history and working as a tutor. ...
I’m a first class graduate with over a thousand hours of tutoring under my belt. I grew up in London and was educated at the highly selective Graveney School in South West London before going on to read English Literature at Warwick University (most competitive course in the country) where I achieved the third highest degree in my year. I come from a family of writers - and high achievers! I achieved one of the top five marks in the country for my English Literature GCSE and I bring this standard of excellence to all my teaching.

After graduating I went on to work in schools, discovering a passion for education whilst working as both a teacher and SEN specialist in both Secondary and Primary schools. Since becoming a private tutor I have taught a range of subjects and ages and have even spent two years working as the Household Tutor for an American-Iranian family, teaching a boy from pre-school to KS2 (ages 4 to 7).

Early Years and Primary are my specialty but I teach a lot of subjects - everything up to GCSE and all Humanities up to and including undergraduate, as well as 7+, 11+, 13+ (Westminster, Harrow, Eton Pre-test) and US exams. I also am available for residential and Skype tuition. ...
I grew up in a family that moved every few years, so I attended school first in private academies in Singapore, then the U.S. public school system. I went on to Harvard University, where I focused on the social sciences and graduated with a degree in Women & Gender Studies. After working in tech in the US, including over 3 years building and leading the customer support organization at Uber, I am currently pursuing a Master of Science at the London School of Economics.

As a lifelong bookworm and overall nerd, I look to bring that excitement for learning to those around me, be that within a classroom or in the workplace. During my undergraduate years, I focused my extracurricular time tutoring in and leading an organization that provided free English Second Language classes. At Uber, I personally coached 11 direct reports to develop leadership, analytical, and people management skills, either directly promoting or facilitating their promotion to higher level roles within the company.

I am well versed in the US system, including AP and college entrance exams, and I particularly enjoy working with students through the entire admissions processes, especially when it comes to personal essays. In addition, I can support any students looking to gain presentation and data analysis skills. You can always count of me to bring some humor and levity to facilitate learning, whether the topic is the SAT exam or using Excel. ...
I have been teaching since the age of eighteen when I worked as a classroom assistant at Guildford High School for six months. I then worked at the European School of Brussels while working as an au pair. While studying French and English at Oxford I continued tutoring a range of subjects during the vac. After graduating in 2016 I spent a year working on a research project in South Africa investigating highly vulnerable teens to inform public health policy. Since September 2017 I have been tutoring full-time. I am now living in Clapham, and particularly specialise in French tuition all the way from the age of 7 to undergraduate level. I also have extensive experience tutoring Maths, English and Spanish, as well as a variety of other subjects to GCSE level. In October 2018 I will be taking up a full-time position as a Business Analyst at Mckinsey & Co. ...
I have been a tutor since I began my undergraduate degree at Oxford in 2013. I graduated with the highest first class degree in English Language and Literature at my college, Christ Church. At Christ Church I was also an Academic Scholar and holder of a Gibbs Prize for achieving a Distinction in Preliminary Examinations and coming 10th in a year of 240 students. In 2016, I started a Masters degree in English Language and Literature at University College London, where I was awarded the Shakespeare and Rhetoric Prize by Professor Brian Vickers. In 2018, I was awarded a fully-funded place on Oxford's DPhil (PhD) programme by the Arts and Humanities Research Council. Since then, I have been a lecturer and tutor at Christ Church and New College, teaching English Literature from the Renaissance to the present. I have also twice been an interviewer for the Oxford admissions interview.

Throughout my time at Oxford and UCL, I have accumulated extensive experience tutoring privately for a range of abilities, from pre-test to university admissions, including undergraduate and postgraduate study. Although my main subject is English, I have a strong interest in other languages and arts. Having grown up in Paris with dual English/Italian nationality, I am a native speaker of English, Italian and French, and can speak conversational Spanish. My interest and ability in History of Art has lead me to teaching the subject for the General Paper of the Eton Oppidan Scholarship. My constant desire to learn and develop intellectually is something which is greatly helped by tutoring, and this passion is one I seek to instil in all my tutees. ...
