With 20 years of Prep School teaching experience, I am now a professional tutor teaching all subjects to children of all ages from Year 1 upwards.

I qualified in teaching at Cambridge University in 2000 and since then I have enjoyed many years in classrooms and management offices of some of the top UK Prep Schools, helping children to really achieve their full potential, a love for learning, and safe passage to the senior school of their choice.

I also mentor and teach parents to help them engage with their child's learning and play a vital part in their child's path to success. ...
I'm a Postgraduate Medical Student and Oxford University Graduate with a passion for adventure and learning from every opportunity that life offers! I’m a tutor with a broad academic background who has a particular interest in helping kids who lack academic motivation or generally could do with an extra role model. ...
I am a future trainee solicitor at Linklaters LLP and am about to commence studying for my LPC professional qualification. I have a First Class degree from Oxford in Classics (Literae Humaniores), 3 A*s (English Literature, Latin, Ancient Greek) and 1 A (History) at A level, and 12 A*s at GCSE. This year I have been tutoring students for Latin and Ancient Greek A levels, and also offer tutoring in English Literature and History A levels, and most subjects at GCSE (available on request). ...
I am entering my penultimate year of the highly competitive accelerated Graduate Medicine degree at King's College London where I am in the top decile and was previously awarded a first class degree from UCL in Neurophysiology and Neuropharmacology. I am particularly passionate about Psychiatry, Neurology and Extreme Physiology.

Since 2014, while studying I have worked continuously in the service industry (as one of a 6 person team behind one of London's top craft breweries), entertainment (as a host for live music events across London) and in drug policy and harm reduction (as a content producer and spokesperson for the Alcohol and Drug Education Consultancy). I have also worked as a STEM and Medical Admissions Tutor over the last two years.

Medical school is a hugely collaborative environment where budding medics learn by teaching. Making use of my natural ability to communicate and motivate others, I have become increasingly involved in education and I am currently working towards qualification as an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Authority (AFHEA). I sit on the KCL Wilderness Medicine Society committee as Training Course Officer and I am the founder and president of the KCL Surf Club. ...
I specialise in US exam preparation, reading comprehension, Art History, English (writing and literature), History, and French language. I have benefitted from one-on-one tutoring throughout my education in order to prepare for standardized tests (ISEE/SSAT, SAT/ACT, GRE), which helped me build confidence and was a huge factor in my success. Having grown up in Manhattan and having attended boarding school and university in the US, I am intimately acquainted with the American educational system and the testing and admissions processes for US high schools and universities. Because of my background, I am well equipped to provide admission advice and counselling.

In New York, I attended a private, all-girls school, Convent of the Sacred Heart, before continuing my education at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut. At Choate, I took many Advanced Placement and honors courses. I achieved a 35 (of 36) on my ACT and 5's on my Art History, French, English Literature, and European History AP exams. I attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee where I double-majored in Art History and French. Before beginning my graduate studies in September 2019, in order to improve my German, I attended the Middlebury College Intensive Summer Language Program in Middlebury, Vermont, an 8 week, immersive program where all classes and socialising are conducted in German. I moved to London in 2019 to attend the master's programme in the History of Art at the Courtauld Institute (M.A. distinction, 2020; course: German Modernism: Politics, Utopia, and Times of Turmoil).

I am now the Project Curator of an online journal and exhibition space affiliated with MIT on art and migration and Performa director RoseLee Goldberg's research assistant for the fourth edition of her book Performance Art: From Futurism to the Present, focusing on performance and new media from 2010 onward. ...
I graduated from St. John's College, Cambridge in 2016 with a first class degree in History of Art and an MPhil in Early 20th Century British Modernist Painting. I was born and live in London and attended Westminster Under School and Eton College, two of the country's most prestigious and competitive private schools. ...
I've been tutoring and working with children part time since I finished school in 2014, and have graduated from Oxford University, where I studied English literature. Before that, I took IB at Wellington College, in which I scored 43 out of a possible 45 points. I've tutored in London, Oxford and Hong Kong, worked as a nanny, and set up and continue to run a school sponsorship program in Nepal, which provides disadvantaged children with the opportunity to be educated in Kathmandu. For me, one of the most rewarding aspects of tutoring is helping students gain confidence in something they thought they would never understand, or felt they weren't good at, turning a daunting task into something enjoyable. I've worked with children who range from 3 to 23 years old, but have most experience with Common Entrance at 11+ and 13+. The breath of the IB course means that I'm able to teach a range of subjects to a high standard, and have great experience balancing academic work with other areas of life, as well as finding important overlaps between diverse subjects and interests. ...
I am an outgoing tutor with an enthusiasm to help students engage with and enjoy their education. I value learning as a way of coming to understand the world and what is going on around you!

My A-Levels helped me to shape a way of thinking that then led to my degree in Anthropology at UCL, for which I received a 1st. This was one of the most exciting and stimulating decisions I made, and I thoroughly enjoyed each moment of my course.

I am confident in teaching a broad base of humanities and languages, and hope to have the chance to inspire some students in doing so! ...
I am a friendly, encouraging teacher with over a decade's experience, particularly with students aged 11-13. Since graduating from Cambridge 13 years ago I have taught students of all sorts of abilities and ages (5-58) anywhere from Notting Hill to Nairobi. My curiosity about the world has drawn me to journalism as well as teaching. I worked at the Telegraph for two years and now I write about arts and culture for The Economist’s 1843, The Spectator and Apollo magazines. I am also the co-author of 'What on Earth is Going On? A Crash Course in Current Affairs' (HarperCollins, 2009 - Sunday Times 'Stocking Filler of the Year'). Both my teaching and writing are informed by a desire to understand the world, and to help others do so too. ...
I am a qualified teacher, two-time author, and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. I have four degrees in history, education, theology, and political thought. I have studied at Cambridge University (MPhil in Political Thought and Intellectual History) and I am currently doing my DPhil in History at the University of Oxford. I am a passionate tutor with years of experience (both tutoring and being tutored) and I'm excited to help everyone I can achieve their academic dreams! ...
