I have a long track record helping students win admission into highly-selective courses and jobs (Oxbridge, and top consulting companies). I am currently a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in the United States, and was previously a consultant in London. My Tutoring & Teaching Experience

I specialise in two areas:

1) UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS: Personal statement and Oxbridge interview prep. Past students have been accepted into Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, LSE, Warwick, Durham, Leeds, and Manchester. I specialize in business-related courses (economics, management, accounting, finance, etc.), but am comfortable tutoring across subjects (e.g., placed a non-target student into Imperial for engineering).

2) CAREER COACHING: Interview and written prep for job applications, scholarship applications, and grad school applications. Services I specialise in: CV, cover letters, 'fit' interview questions, consulting case interviews (past students received offers from Bain, Accenture, and Oliver Wyman). For graduate school applications, I personally received interviews to all programmes I applied for (HEC Paris and the Schwarzman scholarship)

My Approach to Tutoring

My approach to university admissions tutoring is highly personalised to each student's past experiences as well as academic and career aspirations. My prefer to be highly collaborative and invite my students to take ownership of showcasing their experiences to allow their passion to shine through in a unique way. I spend my first few lessons exploring my students' motivations, providing coaching on application strategy, reviewing any current work in progress (e.g., PS drafts), and laying out our essay structure.

For career coaching, I focus on effective verbal and written communication, sharing tried and tested approaches that have worked well for me and my students. Mock interviews and case interviews will be based on a selection of real questions and questions that all candidates should be prepared for, and feedback will be personalised and grounded in deep professional experience,

Fun Facts About Me

I love languages and cultures! Besides having lived in Singapore, Hong Kong, Cambridge, London and Chicago, I speak 5 languages fluently (currently learning Danish). I love to learn more about my students' backgrounds as it makes my job more interesting and rewarding. I also represented Cambridge in trampoline at BUCS and varsity, and was awarded the Cambridge Blue in 2016.
